The flights will be directed to the Henri Coanda airport in Otopeni, while the Aurel Vlaicu airport in Baneasa will be used mostly for parking the aircrafts, he said.
The airports will not be closed so the delegates and the journalists to be able to arrive in Bucharest, Micula added.
The Summit will take place between April 2 and 4. Romania will host some 6,500 foreign guests, out of which 3,500 journalists, from 26 countries members of NATO.
The Summit in Bucharest is the biggest since the Alliance was set up. Romania will host the summit for the first time since it joined NATO in 2004, making Bucharest just the third capital from the former communist bloc, after Prague in 2002 and Riga in 2006, to host a high-level meeting of one of Moscow’s greatest Cold War rivals.
