Romania's leu climbs to 3.77 lei per euro in the opening session, due to higher interests

 Banks sold 1 euro for 3.79 lei this morning. The leu climbed to 3.76-3.7650 lei per euro following significant transactions. The national currency stood at  3.7720-3.7750 lei per euro at 10:30 a.m.

 The U.S. dollar was traded from 1.4661 to 1.4710 per euro on the international markets, while at 10:30 a.m Romania's hour, the euro was sold for 1.4685 U.S. dollars.

The interbank interest rates for overnight deposits stood around 8.75-9.25 percent per year, on lower liquidity on the market.
