Gross average nominal income stood at 1,402 lei (444 euros), a 1.8 percent increase from the previous month. Net average income reached 1,040 lei in July.
The highest net average income stood at 2,963 lei in the financial sector, while the lowest was 608 lei, in the wood processing industry.
The index of real salaries for July 2007, calculated as a link between net salary advances and inflation, stood at 101.4 percent, representing a 1.4 percent increase in real terms from the previous month.
