Romania’s No. 1 landline operator Romtelecom will resume listing on the stock exchange market

The ministry must renew the legal documents required for the listing and choose a legal consultant together with a brokerage firm. Greek-based OTE holds 54.01 percent of the company’s shares and the Romanian state owns the rest.

Romtelecom saw 1.4 million euros net profit in this year's second quarter, versus the 4.2 million euros losses registered in the same period last year. Revenues stood at 217 million euros, according to OTE Group financial report. The company has 75 units countrywide and 337 points of presence through its partners. Romtelecom voiced expansion plans as it intends to open 40 stores next year.
