UniCredit Securities is 99.99 percent controlled by UniCredit Tiriac Bank. Dinu Patriciu, the CEO of The Rompetrol Group, would take over more than 50 percent of UniCredit Securities, following this move.

UniCredit Tiriac Bank’s main shareholders are Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, Redrum International Investments BV and Vesanio Trading Limited.

The last two are controlled by businessman Ion Tiriac. The bank last year owned 139 units, in 38 counties.
