Romania's SIF Muntenia doubles net profit in Q1 y/y to lei 20.84m

The company's net profit stood at 10.74 million lei in the first quarter last year.

SIF Muntenia drew total revenues of 34.18 million lei in the first three months of the year, a 88 percent boost from the same period last year when it had 18.15 million lei.

Total spendings in the first quarter reached 9.33 million lei, a 50 percent hike from the same period last year when they stood at 6.25 million lei.

SIF Muntenia posted 86.67 million lei (26 million euros) net profit over last year, a 20 percent hike from the year before.

The company has a share capital of 80.7 million lei, divided into 807 million shares, at 0.10 lei face value. Its shares are traded on the first tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the SIF4 symbol. The company's capitalization stands at 1.31 billion lei. The shares were last traded at 1.63 lei on April 30.
