The law regulating Romania’s capital market required for all the nine SSSIF Broker units to have a representative in charge with internal control, authorized by CNVM.

All the nine units ceased activities temporarily. Prunea said there are only four units which do not have an internal controller. The official explained training courses for such positions take time and that is why the SSIF Broker units faced such a problem.

CNVM also gave a 2,000 lei fine to Adina Maria Moldovan, a SSSIF Broker internal controller, for delays in submitting to CNVM several documents.
