Net profit rose 5.45 times from April to June compared to the first quarter of the year, when it stood at 7.22 million lei. The company’s net profit in the second quarter last year was of 25.9 million lei.
SIF Moldova’s revenues in the second quarter stood at 54.5 million lei, 3.82 times more than in the first three months of the year, but a 31.8 percent drop versus the same period last year. Net profit in the first six months of the year accounted for 46.61 million lei, a 6 percent increase over the company’s estimations and a 57 percent growth versus the same period of 2006, when net profit was of 29.68 million lei.
Revenues in the first six months stood at 68.76 million lei, a 24.2 percent year-on-year drop. Net assets at the end of June were of 1.617 billion lei.
SIF Moldova’s share capital is of 51.9 million lei, divided in 519 million shares, with a face value of 0.10 lei and shares are listed at the first tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, under the symbol SIF2.
