“I come from a team where the focus on innovation and the courage to think out of the box turned Avon Romania into the first option when it comes to beauty - including online - and along which many women found a better life,” Creţu said, quoted by the press release. She has been leading the cosmetics producer’s Romanian subsidiary for four years and a half.
“The group of 10 countries which I worked with in South Eastern Europe became a model acknowledged and appreciated regionally and globally,” she added.
According to Creţu, the new head of Avon for Romania and Moldova will be Răzvan Diraţian, the current Business Development Manager. He will handle the two countries as Commercial Director. More than 20 Romanians are holding middle and top management positions within Avon worldwide.
Avon is world leader on the beauty product direct sales. It has more than 45,000 employees and sales exceeding $10 million in more than 100 countries, through 5.5 million representatives. In Romania, Avon is operating for 12 years. It is market leader on the direct sales segment since 2002.
