Romanian premier heads to London to meet British counterpart Gordon Brown on December 5

The two men will discuss the development of economic cooperation between UK and Romania as well as the cooperation within common military missions.

Tariceanu will also meet representatives of the Romanian community in UK and British businessmen interested to invest in Romania.

Tariceanu's visit occurs after the British government announced at the end of October it will prolong restrictions on the labor market for Romanians until the end of 2008.

The country introduced restrictions on the labor market for Romania and Bulgaria at the beginning of the year after the two joined the European bloc.The decision came under the pressure of the large number of immigrants from countries which joined EU in 2004.
