Romanian short movie “Tube with a Hat” wins big prize at Uppsala film festival

The festival which lasted for seven days starting with October 22 presented some 370 short movies. The big prize bestowed to Jude was worth 2,700 euros. The jury said it chose the movie due to its humor and honesty in approaching the relationship between a father and his son.
The film depicts the trip of the two from the countryside to the city to repair a television set, focusing on the relationship of the two characters played by actors Gabriel Spahiu and Marian Bratu.
The 23-minute-long film draws attention to the smaller things that matter in life.
