The BET index tracking the market’s ten top performers sinked 0.37 percent to 8,730.92, the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds dipped 0.14 percent to 5,998.53 and the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna dropped 0.32 percent to 19,300.36. The BET-FI index measuring the five SIFs decreased the most, 1.82 percent to 67,090.57. The market's liquidity reached 6.04 million lei (1.65 million euros).

SIF Muntenia (SIF4) ranked first in terms of liquidity, drawing 986,971 lei while cheapening 1.47 percent to 2.01 lei, followed by SIF Oltenia (SIF5) which dropped 1.81 percent to 3.79 lei per share.

SIF Moldova (SIF2) decreased 1.66 percent to 2.97 lei and SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) sinked 1.64 percent to 2.99 lei. SIF Transilvania (SIF3) lost 1.97 percent to 1.99 lei.

BRD SocGen, Romania’s second largest lender by assets, saw its shares rise 2.17 percent, to 23.50 lei while Banca Transilvania (TLV), Romania's fifth lender by assets, saw share dive 1.18 percent to 0.8350 lei.

Shares of brokerage house SSIF Broker Cluj (BRK) cheapened 2.56 percent to 2.28 lei. Drug maker Biofarm saw shares drop 0.93 percent to 0.53 lei.

The shares of oil company Petrom (SNP) saw a 0.21 percent decline, to 0.48 lei. Trades with the Transgaz allocation rights (TGNR01) tripled from the opening of the previous session, totalizing 357,075 lei.
