Romanian stocks see fall on opening, European stocks advance

The BET index measuring the market’s ten top performers dropped 0.01 percent and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus investment funds fell 0.14 percent. The ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna dipped 0.07 percent.

The BET-FI index measuring the five investment funds known as SIFs slipped 0.14 percent. SIF Oltenia (SIF5) was the most liquid on the market, remaining idle at 3.64 lei. SIF Moldova (SIF2) decreased 1.03 percent to 2.87 lei.

Lender BRD SocGen (BRD) gained 1.35 percent to 22.50 lei, after a 3 percent fall yesterday. Banca Transilvania (TLV) dropped 0.62 percent to 0.805 lei.

Brokerage house (BRK) advanced 0.47 percent to 2.16 lei.
