Romanian stocks see new decline; European stocks also fall

The BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds dipped 1.65 percent and the BET index assessing the market’s ten top performers saw a 1.41 percent decline.

The BET-FI index measuring the five investment funds known as SIFs lost 1.05 percent. SIF Oltenia slipped 1.41 percent to 4.20 lei, SIF Banat-Crisana  lost 0.85 percent to 3.49 lei, SIF Moldova  dropped 1.68 percent to 3.51 lei, SIF Muntenia (SIF4) saw a 1.23 decline to 2.40 lei and SIF Transilvania  fell 0.43 percent to 2.31 lei.

Oil refinery Rompetrol Rafinare  also declined 4.27 percent to 0.112 lei, after the company posted 78.72 million lei loss for the third quarter.

Oil company Petrom lost 2.83 percent to 0.515 lei.
