The BET index measuring the market’s ten top performers rose 2.50 percent and the BET-C index tracking all listed shares minus investment funds saw a 2.01 percent hike and ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna gained 2.31 percent.
The BET-FI index assessing the five investment funds known as SIFs advanced 2.22 percent as SIF Moldova (SIF2) climbed 2.51 percent to 3.27 lei and SIF Oltenia (SIF5) rose 2.27 percent to 4.06 lei.
The country’s second-largest bank by assets, BRD SocGen (BRD), increased 2.92 percent to 24.70 lei and the fifth bank by assets, Banca Transilvania (TLV) gained 2.41 percent to 0.85 lei.
Brokerage house Broker Cluj (BRK) rose 3.27 percent to 2.53 lei, and electricity transporter Transelectrica (TEL) saw a 3.02 hike to 34.10 lei.
