The news casts will start every hour and update every half hour. Also commercial breaks will be broken up in smaller segments. Realitatea TV will modify the logo of the station and the graphic to bring it closer to the operation principles of CNN.
The TV station is to change the autumn schedule, introducing the morning news from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. “This news cast is characterized by short and alert news, following the American model of early news casts”, Popa said.
The program will add a new show filmed with a mobile TV camera inside NewsIn room, the news agency part of the same media group and in the station's studios. Reporters, editors and producers will discuss the most important daily events.
Another show will take the camera behind the closed doors and display neat and funny moments from the TV station's backstage.
Realitatea TV is part of the Realitatea-Catavencu group as well as The Money Channel, Romantica, Radio Guerrilla, NewsIn, “Academia Catavencu”, “Cotidianul” and “Le Monde Diplomatique.”
