Romanians living abroad to receive state pensions in a bank account

It is estimated that some 29,000 Romanians will benefit from this service, of which most live in Germany (10,000), Austria (5,000) and Hungary (4,000).

“CNPAS invited financial institutions to submit bids for a contract to pay pensions outside Romania. Citibank Romania was chosen following a public auction at the end of 2007,” said the Secretary General of CNPAS, Stefana Aghergheloaei. (NewsIn)
