For 2008, the company estimates turnover worth €150 million.
The most important investments were launched in 2007, finalized in 2008, company representatives told Business Standard. The company entered the beer market through a €40 million Greenfield investment, invested €8 million to expand the bottling capacities for its Borsec and Stanceni natural mineral waters, and acquired equipment worth €5.2 million.
The company entered the beer market with the Albacher brand, which next year targets a 3 percent share on a market estimated to be worth €1 billion.
Romaqua is also producer of Giusto, Brifcor and Quick Cola soft drinks, Giusto Natura and Giusto Natura Plus non-carbonated drinks, Stanceni, Aquatique and Borsec mineral waters, and Metropolitan coffee.
