The Austrian New Frontier Holding company paid $54 million (€39.45 mln) for the Romsys system integration company, according to a declaration for Business Standard by sources closely associated with the deal. Romsys representatives did not wish to discuss the information, and Cojanu was unavailable for comment. The negotiations for takeover of Romsys, which posted turnover in 207 of €24.3 mln and a net profit of €4.1 mln, lasted less than six months.
The second-largest deal involved ITC Networks, of which 95 percent was acquired by Russian Luxoft for some $50 mln, according to IT market sources for Business Standard. ITC Networks posted turnover in 2007 of some $25 mln (€18.3 mln).
