“There is a drop on the delivery market, similar to all markets. I think that, by the end of the year, this industry will decline 30%. It is natural that TCE should register the same decline,” Radu told Business Standard.
TCE, which merged with another delivery operator, Curiero, posted €27 million in business last year.
However, although some markets plunged, TCE almost doubled its client portfolio in the first three months of 2009, after taking over the clients from small companies that went bankrupt.
Top players on the local delivery market are multinationals DHL and TNT.
