All known fertilization techniques will be used at the clinic. Both Romanian and foreign patients, especially Israeli, will be treated at the clinic.

The company relies on medical tourism, a relatively new phenomenon, which means treating patients from developed countries at lower prices. “Patients from Western Europe go to Hungary for dental work, and come to Romania for cosmetic surgery, at much lower prices,” said Costin Trandafirescu, General Manager of Saint Lukas.

The hospital was established in 2006 with a €2 mln investment. Saint Lukas expects turnover worth €4 mln this year.
