“Both markets have become essential areas for Samsung Electronics, due to their dynamic market structures. Samsung Electronics Romania will have a more active presence from now on, and carry out the company’s business through a local office. We want to bring Samsung closer to the market, in both countries (...), with the principal aim being to meet the needs of our clients and bring the best quality products to these markets as quickly as possible,” said Samsung’s General Manager for Romania and Bulgaria, Jae Cheon Park.
Samsung Electronics is present in Romania and Bulgaria through its local partners. Both markets were coordinated until recently by Samsung Electronics Austria GmbH, which supervises the company’s activities in Central and Eastern Europe.
Samsung intends to become a “Digital e-Company,” and to this end it has transformed its operations, focussing attention on digital technology. As such, the company’s entire supply chain, from sales, marketing and communications, to research, production and distribution, operates electronically through an internet network.
