Samsung posts growth in Romania

Hat Romania, main distributor of Samsung mobile phones, is targeting net sales worth €70 million in 2008, compared to €53 mln year-on-year.

Two other distributors of Samsung products, DECK Computers and Genco, posted turnover in 2007 of €23 mln and €100 mln, respectively.

According to research company IDC, worldwide results in the fourth quarter of 2007 place Samsung in second place after Nokia, with a market share of 13.9 percent and 40.6 million units delivered in that period, followed by Motorola.
