SCC: Minimum wage of €400 for junior consultants

"The biggest problem for fiscal consulting, audit and accounting companies is certainly the lack of specialized personnel, given that junior financial consultants with the necessary skills to complete an entire project are hard to find," SCC's Managing Partner, Dan Schwartz, said. 

He said this is the reason why prices for fiscal consulting services rose considerably in the past few years. "Unfortunately, the Romanian educational system does not provide classes adjusted for financial consulting positions. No one learns in school how to cover an audit project," Schwartz said. He added, the training and practice program for a junior consultant takes about one year.
