Schneider Electric Romania posts 30% growth in business

Schneider Electric Romania, electricity distribution and industrial control solutions and equipment provider, posted €65 million in business in 2007, 30 percent higher year-on-year. The main growth engine was building automation segment, where the company registered 140 percent growth. The integrated and control system segment rose 60 percent, while industrial automation registered 40 percent growth.

The company currently has 400 offices countrywide and plans to open a further 100 locations this year.

“For 2008, we plan investments totaling €1 million to launch new products and solutions for personnel training and promotion,” said the company's Country Manager, David Nicholl.
