SCI FI and Universal Channel TV stations to broadcast in Romania

NBC Universal Global Network’s Hallmark Channel and Movies 24 are already available in Romania through several cable operators.

Universal Channel broadcasts TV series and box office hit movies, while SCI FI focuses on science fiction, fantasy, horror and paranormal movies.

NBC Universal Global Networks Central and Eastern Europe’s Commercial Manager, Colin McLeod, told Business Standard that broadcasting by the two channels in Romania is part of the company’s strategy to increase global coverage for its entertainment channels and cable broadcast networks. These operations have yielded some €3 billion worth of business for the company.
