Scop group targets €136 mln worth of business in 2008

The main company of the group, Scop Computers, accounts for some 91 percent of this turnover. Docentris, the division handling document management, ranks second, with sales of €7 mln in 2007, while the third company of the group, Chara Software, specialized in business software, posted some €300,000 in turnover.

“For 2008, at the group level, Scop is targeting a 30 percent increase in turnover,” up to some €136 mln, according to Scop’s General Manager, Alexandru Visan.

Scop Computers, retailer of more than 30 brands, registered 75 percent growth in notebook sales, compared to 2006 results, and currently has a 30 percent share of the local notebook retail market.
