Servers and enterprise division to boost Microsoft Romania business

“We foresee a 30-35 percent growth, impacted, however, by the evolution of the market and of significant projects,” said the company’s Business&Marketing Manager, Dan Bulucea. “The highest growth, above that percentage, will be registered by the servers division and the enterprise zone,” Bulucea said.

Int the 2006-2007 fiscal year, the company posted 52 percent increase in revenues. In the past fiscal year, Microsoft Romania’s business rose 45 percent.

The servers division registered a 75 percent growth in the 2007-2008 fiscal year, while the Romanian servers market rose 20 percent, according to Microsof officials.

The company will have a new manager, former consultant Calin Tatomir, as of October 15. Tatomir is replacing the former country manager, Silviu Hotaran, who decided to start his own business.
