Seven companies to be privatized through BVB

This year, the Authority for State Assets (AVAS) is to privatize seven companies it controls, through special deals on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). Secondary public offers will be launched for a further three companies.

The transactions will be brokered by several financial investment companies, to be chosen by AVAS by the end of this month.

AVAS plans to sell its stock in Fabrica de Scule Rasnov, UCM Resita, Silvania Forest Satu Mare, Piese Auto Tulcea, TransGex Oradea, Turbomecanica Bucuresti and Iasitex. (The Money Channel)
