Siemens Romania’s General Manager resigns

Under Baicusi’s management, Siemens doubled its revenue in Romania in the past five years to €360 million, while the number of employees rose 4.5 times, to 3,700 people, due to a significant expansion of its portfolio. 

Since 2003, the German group has opened two factories in the central city of Sibiu, and increased the number of companies it operates locally to 16, from nine companies five years ago. The 16 companies are covering various fields, from software production for the auto industry, equipment for the energy and railway transportation sectors, medical equipment, IT services and other industrial sectors.
