Solmar targets business worth €33 mln in 2008

The company will open 12 new locations in Baneasa Shopping City, according to Irina Radu, General Manager.

The company invested some €3 mln in 2007 to open three new locations in Bucharest Mall and on Bucharest’s Calea Victoriei, while plans for 2008 include spending some €6 mln. The company currently owns 12 stores in Romania, 10 of which are in Bucharest.

Solmar opened the Victoria 46 luxury multi-brand store. “We considered this to be an opportune development at the time on an unexploited market segment, and we were not mistaken. We are identifying new locations to expand the Victoria multi-brand,” says Irina Radu.

The company also owns the franchise for Jennyfer, Parfois and multi-brand stores IT+ and Victoria 46, and plans to open new monobrand stores for Marina Rinaldi, Max Mara Weekend, Max Co., Oasis, and Karen Miller.
