The law firm recently opened its 15th office in Romania, in the central city of Miercurea Ciuc. Earnings made by territorial offices tripled in the first six months of the year, compared to H1 2007. For the whole of 2007, offices outside Bucharest made up 10 percent of the law firm’s business.

Most law firms on the local market are focusing their operations in the country’s capital, and are less interested in territorial expansion. Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen has two offices outside Bucharest, in the cities of Timisoara and Sibiu, while Tuca Zbarcea&Asociatii has an office in the city of Cluj-Napoca, and Musat&Asociatii has a branch in the city of Iasi.

Bostina si Asociatii’s strategy is based on an influx of European funds for various projects, especially infrastructure, environmental and utility, which are to be developed locally, according to the company’s PR Manager, Ovidiu Constantinescu.
