TAROM ranks sixth in Europe in terms of growth rhythm

In the first four months, the number of passengers increased 19.8 percent, to 546,100. In terms of transported passengers, TAROM ranks 22nd of 32 operators part of the AEA.

The largest companies in terms of transported passengers are Lufthansa, Air France and SAS Scandinavian Airlines. Lufthansa transported 17.3 million passengers in the Q1 2008, while Air France transported 15.9 mln passengers.
