The deal was concluded on 18 May 2008, and the operator provided its assets as collateral, with the exception of buildings, and intellectual property rights. Telemobil officials confirmed the information and said that further data will be provided shortly.
Telemobil and the fourth-largest operator in the field, RCS&RDS, won 3G service licenses, and are compelled to implement part of these this year.
Zapp’s main competitors on the local market are Vodafone Romania, Orange Romania, and Cosmote Romania.
