Tender told Business Standard that productivity rose at the Vulcan heavy machinery maker, but that the market plunged and so did orders. “Contracts with many foreign clients were delayed. Although we should have started production for them this year, the contracts were postponed, because of the crisis, for 2011,” he said.
After the first quarter of 2009, the company posted some €7.1 million in turnover, 49 percent higher year-on-year.
Speaking about Prospectiuni, another company within the group, specialized in prospecting operations, he said that activity was reduced, although the business is still good.
Other companies in the Tender energy group are Fecne Bucharest, Nuclearmontaj Bucharest, Talc Dolomiţa Hunedoara, and Upruc CTR Făgăraş.
