The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market added 0.21 percent to 4,916.98 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies soared 0.10 percent to 2,890.83.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF jumped 1.85 percent to 28,754.06, while the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna declined 0.40 percent to 9,956.15.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies nudged up 0.68 percent to 505.29 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market gained 0.42 percent to 639.46.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) sponged deals of 8.26 million lei and climbed 1.96 percent to 1.56 lei, while those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) increased 1.50 percent to 1.35 lei.

On the banking sector, Erste Bank (EBS) lowered 3.30 percent to 105.40 lei and Banca Transilvania (TLV) lost 1.02 percent to 1.95 lei.
