The company has a distribution network which includes 250 retailers, with a total network of 480 stores.
“The current network is rather unstable at the moment, there are many small enterprises that will not overcome the crisis,” Cristian Rusu, Head and founder of Rus Savitar, told Business Standard.
The company recently created a retail brand, Casa Rusu, within which Rus Savitar plans to open 14 units by year-end and 30 units in 2010. The own network will allow direct access to clients and prices lower by up to 30 percent, according to the company official.
Rus Savitar expects a 10 percent rise in net sales this year, to €20 million, on a market where major players are forecasting a 10 percent decline.
