Even if most revenues came from companies operating in the fields of telecom, auto, and finance, which are traditional clients for this environment, the internet managed to attract new investors.
The internet market was also affected by the general stand-by atmosphere which has been felt since the beginning of the year, but which began bouncing back in March.
“March balanced out the first quarter, as the first two months were weak. The drop is less felt in the online sector than in other environments, because we plan to grow, and things are changing,” said Cosmin Otel, Sales Manager of ARBOinteractive.
Dragos Gurarosie, Chief Executive Officer of F5 X-Media, part of the Realitatea-Catavencu group, said that even though some sectors have been affected by the crisis, others have seized the opportunities that have come along, so that, on the whole, the internet has attracted higher revenues from advertising.
