The Prime Minister made this declaration during a briefing in which he announced the approval of the draft budget for 2009.
“The budget, as it was presented, did not contain this rise. However, changes are likely to appear after the elections to rectify this measure. Today’s vote does not determine what will happen in 2009. Based on the opinions of various parties, there is a chance that the rise in teacher salaries will be approved ahead of April,” commented analyst Aurelian Dochia.
