However, there are cases of companies, such as Colterm Timisoara or Nuonsib Sibiu, which registered a high profitability rate, according to financial data reported for 2007, the results being partially explained by high productivity of employees compared to the average of the 16 companies analyzed, according to a report by AT Kearney consultancy company.
The report indicates that, of the 16 companies, only six are profitable. Of these, the most profitable is Nuonsib Sibiu, with earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) representing 8.1 percent of revenues, of €1.2 million. This is also the company with one of the highest revenues per employee, of €106.800, 1.7 times higher that the €63.800 average.
At the opposite end of the list, CET Brasov registered losses of 55.3 percent of its revenues obtained in 2007, worth €36 mln. Revenues per employee amounted to €48.800.
