“We have an investment budget this year worth some €20-25 million. It is possible that we will initiate another project this year, for 3,500 apartments, to be built over a period of three years, and one for 25-30 homes, both in the [southeastern Bucharest] Vitan area,” according to a declaration for Business Standard by Ionut Negoita. He added that, in order to avoid, as much as possible, the contracting of new bank loans. most of the money will come from the group’s own sources.

Pro Confort is building the residential Confort City in Vitan, which it estimates to complete by the end of the year. “We want to sell 75 percent of the apartments by the completion of the project. At present, we have sold 600 Confort City apartments, of a total of 1,700 offered for sale,” added Ionut Negoita.

Last week, the businessman made a declaration, quoted by NewsIn agency, that he will initiate the construction of a new real estate complex in the Popesti-Leordeni area, south of Bucharest, whose investment will be some €160 million, according to quoted sources. The new project will be raised on ten hectares and is expected to be completed in 3-4 years. “By the completion of the project, the real estate market will have recovered. This will happen even sooner. As long as the need for housing is great in Romania, we will continue to invest in real estate,” said Ionut Negoita.
