The Romanian Lottery posts better-than-expected EUR 41m net profit in 2007

CNLR posted  some 36 million euros net profit in 2006.

At least 60 percent of the net profit will be assigned for the Transportation Ministry, to build houses for youth and gyms. A 4 percent share will be used for cinematography, Minca added.

Romanian Lottery's revenues stood around 33 million lei at the 6/49 lotto draws on January 27. The winner at the first category will cash in a total prize of 9.3 million euros, after all taxes are paid.
