The SIF sector on BSE ups 1.92% at closing bell, on a market going down

Liquidity amounted to 20.13 million lei.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market added 0.32 percent to 5,154.15, while the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies eased 0.22 percent to 3,007.47.

The BET-FI index of the five SIFs jumped 1.92 percent to 27,945.57 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna slipped 0.16 percent to 10,667.11.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies won 0.55 percent to 517.31 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market soared 0.61 percent to 664.66.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) were the most traded on the market and rose 1.33 percent to 1.52 lei, while those of SIF Transilvania (SIF3) hiked 2.55 percent to 0.8050 lei.

On the banking sector, Banca Transilvania (TLV) inched 0.45 percent to 2.22 lei, while BRD SocGen (BRD) reduced 0.69 percent to 14.30 lei.
