Recruiting announcements that attracted the largest number of CVs were those for sales agents, assistant managers, or factory managers. A single sales agent announcement posted on the BestJobs site led to the submission of no less than 13,000 CVs.
“Statistics regarding views, but which do not reflect the direct interest of the user for being employed, show that there are announcements viewed by 95,000 users,” said Roxana Timofte, representative of the BestJobs recruiting firm.
According to Myjob recruiting site statistics, candidates have become more active and the number of applications for a job have risen an average 50 to 70 percent compared to the same period last year. “Of course, there is a difference in terms of domain and job: while last year we had more interest in the banking area, now competition has risen for offers for sales and services clients, or jobs that do not require specific studies or aptitudes,” said Adela Rapeanu, Myjob Communication Expert. She added that the rise in the number of candidates can reach and even exceed 300 percent.
Most of those submitting CVs are young graduates and persons laid off, as well as managers working in companies where the situation is more precarious, and employees who are fearful of rumours regarding layoffs and measures taken by companies to reduce salaries.
