The company’s Chairman of the Board, Adrian Popescu, told Business Standard that the estimates could be changed depending on the evolution of the market evolution due to the financial crisis.
For 2009, the company also foresees €203 million worth in net sales, 17 percent higher than the €173 million estimated for 2008. In 2010-2012, the company’s turnover is set to exceed €1 billion.
The company also plans to lower investments in 2009 by some 60 percent, to €2.8 million, in order to have available liquidities to operate in a crisis situation, according to BVB.
TMK controls 80.55 percent of TMK-Artrom, through its TMK Europe subsidiary. It also owns the TMK Resita company, which manages the assets of the former Resita Steel Plant.
