“Compared to previous years, we no longer face the same problems hiring top and middle management staff, due to the fact that Tnuva is a well-known brand, but also because the number of recruiting projects has dropped significantly, leading the labor force supply to exceed demand,” added Vasilescu.
Tnuva, which employed 130 persons last year, especially to develop its sales team, is proposing to recruit only sufficient staff this year to cover for personnel fluctuation or vacancies due to internal promotion. The dairy producer will focus on the professional training of its staff, especially in the sales department, and on identifying key people.
Vasilescu believes that performance on the fast-moving consumer goods market will be the deciding factor for staff to keep their jobs, and is expecting fluctuation to drop this year.
Tnuva does not intend to change the employee benefit package. “Any drop in the level of benefits can negatively affect the level of employee motivation, so we prefer to better manage our relations with service suppliers over modifying this package,” added Cristina Vasilescu.
