Companies with the highest advertising budgets in 2007 were local subsidiaries of multinational giants Procter&Gamble, Unilever, L’Oreal, Danone, Colgate Palmolive, Henkel, Nestle, Orange and Kraft Foods Romania.

Procter and Gamble allocated some €395 mln for TV advertising and a further €2.95 mln in magazine advertising, promoting mostly personal care products and chemical housekeeping products. Unilever, the second-largest local investor in publicity, is promoting similar products, worth some €252 mln for TV and a further €3.42 mln for magazine advertising.

Orange and Coca-Cola are the only advertisers among the top 10 who expenditures for radio advertising exceeded those of magazine promotion.
