Top brokers earn €960,000

The data varied greatly, with the average salary up to a monthly €3,000, based on the fact that a broker earns not only a fixed wage but receives bonuses for performance.

“The top salary package of a brokerage company manager last year was €960,000, of which only 10 percent makes up the fixed salary, and the rest bonuses for performance,” according to a declaration for Business Standard by George Butunoiu, Managing Partner of the Butunoiu Executive Search company.

“Good” brokers on the local capital market earned over €100,000 last year, according to brokerage company representatives. The manager of one of the top ten brokerage companies added that an “excellent” broker earned over €300,000.
