The company recently announced it plans several takeovers to expand its business in Romania and the region.

For 2009, TotalSoft estimates some €25 million in turnover, some 25-30 percent higher year-on-year. Business is set to amount to €19 million this year, while EBITDA is estimated at €3.6-3.8 million.

TotalSoft sells IT solutions for companies in several fields. In Romania, the main destination of sales was retail and construction companies. Sales of its Charisma solution, which make up 60 percent of the company’s total sales, will increase 52 percent this year, while sales of the Primavera solutions, used mainly by real estate developers and oil industry companies, are to rise 60 percent.

In 2009, the company plans to expand operations to Serbia and Bulgaria, as these are the countries with the highest growth potential in the region. On the local market, the IT services and software market growth rate is set to drop to 12 percent, from the current 25 percent. Dragan estimates that the local market is worth some €350 million, and exports €450 million.

TotalSoft’s main shareholder is Greek Global Finance investment fund, with an 80 percent share. Dragan owns the remaining 20 percent.

The company’s main competitors are IBM, HP, S&T, Romsys, UTI Systems, Forte Business Services, Net Consulting, Ascenta, Raiffeisen Informatik and Ness Romania.
