“We sold some 10,000 cars last year, as in 2007, but our market share rose, on the back of a declining market. It is difficult to make an estimate on a market which increased fast and vertically, with an annual growth pace of 30 percent, because such a market drops vertically. In any case, we expect a rise by one percentage point in market share, to some 3.3 percent,” said Kyriazis.
An important share of the company’s net sales came from post-sales services, considering the significant investments made by dealers in the past years. “We advise dealers to see how they can maximize their revenues from after-sales services. Last year, these revenues doubled,” added the company official.
Last year, Toyota expanded its commercial network by ten sales and service units, with the average investment for each dealership amounting to €2.5 mln.
